
University Overview
UniSA was founded on 1 January 1991 through the amalgamation of the South Australian Institute of Technology and the Magill, Salisbury and Underdale campuses of the South Australian College of Advanced Education. Since then, it has quickly earned a reputation as a national leader in collaborative research, has been recognised nationally for innovation in teaching and has South Australia's largest intake of international students.
Undergraduate
The university supports undergraduate students through a range of resources to help them find a future career and explore the pathways on offer. UniSA also promotes international experience by encouraging students to participate in student exchange, short term programs, overseas internships, and international research and study tours.
Postgraduate
For students who want to pursue research, UniSA offers an extensive range of research degree programs by discipline and research areas. To cater to different lifestyles, the university also created several study options for postgraduate students such as on campus, part-time and full-time and distance education studies.
Study Online
External students gain access to the course content by logging in to their personal portal called myUniSA, where they can download study materials, pay fees, interact with lecturers, e-tutors, electronic library database and student support services. UniSA is also connected with the Open Universities Australia which means that students can choose to engage in one or a combination of study modes.
International Students
The university offers free airport pick-up for new students. The university also schedules a welcome week and orientation so that students can meet other new international students and get help with enrolment, accommodation and adjusting to life in Australia. A range of language and learning resource are also accessible. For questions and other concerns international student officers are always available to help.
