Students can gain entry into an undergraduate degree at Flinders through year 12 qualifications, foundation studies, special tertiary admissions test (STAT), TAFE/VET qualifications and higher education transfers. Flinders students are able to make industry connections and enhance their skills and experience through workplace and internship programs in Australia and overseas and by participating in the student exchange program.
Postgraduate
Aside from postgraduate coursework, research degrees are also on offer at Flinders. Research degree types include masters by research degree, doctor of philosophy (PhD) and professional doctorate. Study areas include arts, biotechnology, business, clinical education, engineering, laws, science and theology.
Study Online
The university offers a range of Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters programs online. Students can study postgraduate course in many fields including Arts and languages, Business and commerce, Culture, heritage, tourism and theology, education, science, health and medicine and nursing and midwifery. Resources and information such as student help desks, forums, lecture recordings, academic and study skills help are also available for off-campus students.
International Students
The university's international student services offers a free meet and greet servicefor new international students upon arrival at the airport. After a student's arrival, a briefing will follow. Orientations, on campus tours and academic support are also part of student support programs. Along with all these, the university also grants international student scholarships.
